1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of genotyping services provided by Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. ("the company"). By utilizing these services, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions in their entirety. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. makes available to you advanced molecular biology techniques to increase the accuracy and reliability in the process of sex determination and other phenotype tests over conventional phenotypic and visual analysis methods. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. makes every effort to run each test with the utmost care and ensure the best laboratory practices are adhered to to help greatly reduce the chances for cross contamination. However, please be advised Knights Poultry and Lab, llc.'s accuracy is highly dependent on you, the customer's, sample collection ability and technique. Thus, you acknowledge the potential for cross contamination while you extract the samples and mail them for testing that is beyond the control of Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. and thus cannot hold Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. liable for any issues arising from any results, false or not. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. testing is based on the samples you deliver as well as the information you provide. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. is therefore not accountable for any cross-contamination in the process of extracting samples from the birds, any misinformation, or any other factor beyond reasonable control.

2. Service Description

Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. specializes in poultry genotyping, utilizing DNA collected from blood, membrane and feather samples to determine the sex, and if certain birds carry genes of a specific number when applicable. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc.’s services are designed to provide accurate and reliable genetic information to individuals including poultry breeders and hobbyists.

3. Sample Submission

Customers are required to submit blood, and when accepted, membrane or feather samples from their birds for genotyping. Samples must be collected and shipped to the lab, by the customer, in accordance with the instructions provided by the Company. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. is not responsible for shipping costs or any damage or loss of samples during transit.

4. Accuracy of Results

While Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. strives to provide accurate and reliable genotyping results, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy due to the inherent variability of genetic testing. Customers should understand that genotyping results are based on scientific analysis using Polymerase Chain Reaction and agarose DNA gel electrophoresis techniques and may be subject to limitations.

5. Payment

Payment for genotyping services is due at the time of requesting an order. Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. accepts various forms of payment, as specified in the payment link that the customer will be redirected to once their order is requested. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Currently there is no charge to the customer for transaction fees, however this is subject to change and customers will be notified if such a change occurs.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds are not issued. However your credits will remain on your account without expiration as long as a test has not already been completed.

7. Failed Assays

Sometimes the assay fails and two re-test attempts are automatically performed from the samples that you originally sent to us at no additional charge. You acknowledge this retest may cause delays in the receipt of your results. If the sample is deemed non-suitable for analysis after two re-test attempts Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. will contact you to coordinate the collection/receipt of a new sample of which you, the customer, are financially responsible for at the same rate of the original unsuccessful sample should you agree to re-send.

8. Limitation of Liability

Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Knights Poultry and Lab, llc.'s services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

10. Amendments

Knights Poultry and Lab, llc. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to review the terms and conditions periodically for any changes.

By utilizing Knights Poultry and Lab, llc.'s website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
